Introduction to the Hashgraph NFT Working Group
Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) have revolutionized the way we think about ownership and value. NFTs allow creators to monetize their digital creations, including music, art, and collectibles, by turning them into unique, one-of-a-kind assets. The Hedera Network is at the forefront of this innovation, providing a high-speed, secure, and efficient network for NFTs.
We are the Hashgraph NFT Working Group, a community of NFT enthusiasts and experts who are passionate about building the best possible NFT ecosystem on the Hedera Network. Our mission is to create a metadata standard for music NFTs on the Hedera Network, allowing artists to easily create and monetize their music as NFTs.
Founded in early 2023, the working group meets regularly to discuss and collaborate on technical, operational, and marketing aspects of the project. We are composed of about 8–10 Hedera NFT community leaders who have volunteered to be a part of the group.
Currently in our very early phases, we plan to branch out this summer!
What we do
The Hashgraph NFT Working Group is a community-driven effort to build the best possible NFT ecosystem on the Hedera Network. We are currently working on creating the metadata standard for music NFTs on the Hedera Network, but our focus may evolve over time based on the needs of the community.

Our collective focus is on developing the metadata standard for music NFTs on the Hedera Network, with the goal of making it easy for artists to monetize their music as NFTs. We believe that by creating a standard, we can make the process of creating, buying, and selling music NFTs more accessible to the wider community. Our work will help to unlock the full potential of the Hedera Network for music NFTs.
Who we are
We are a professional group composed of Hedera NFT community leaders who are invested in the development of the NFT ecosystem on the Hedera Network. While most members are involved in the creation or sale of NFTs, it is not a requirement to join the working group. Members may contribute code, offer background information, knowledge and experience, or find other ways to contribute to the working group’s mission.
